Six Day Series London

Day two of the Six Day Series at Lee Valley VeloPark, October 22-27 2019, hosted at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, combining track cycling with a party atmosphere.

Spotlight over Elia Viviani, Italy, after he won the 7.5km Points Race. This victory helped bump him and teammate Simone Consonni up to second place overall.

Cyclists competed in teams of two in the Madison Chase (20 minutes), the first Madison Chase of the evening.

The hospitality crowd was buzzing during the Madison Chase as cyclists competed for the win.

The crowd celebrated the win of Mark Cavendish and Owain Doull, team UK, with cheers and excitement along with a standing ovation.

Cavendish and Doull being interviewed about their victory in the Madison Chase. Speaking at the event Doull said, “this is why we race bikes, for moments like this, the crowd, the experience, the noise, the crowd lifts you.”
